Shane Jessica Ballera

As a Registered Psychometrician with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, I have developed a strong foundation in mental health assessment, behavioral intervention, and evidence-based psychological approaches relevant to OCD treatment. My experience as a Facility Psychometrician in a rehabilitation setting involved conducting psychological assessments, behavioral screenings, clinical interviews, and collaborating with mental health professionals in developing individualized treatment plans. These experiences strengthened my understanding of maladaptive thought patterns, compulsive behaviors, behavior modification strategies, and progress monitoring commonly involved in OCD management. In addition, my experience as an ABA Therapist enhanced my skills in behavioral observation, data-driven intervention planning, and implementing structured behavioral techniques to reduce maladaptive behaviors and improve adaptive functioning. Through my academic training, psychometric practice, and hands-on behavioral work, I have gained practical knowledge in supporting individuals with behavioral and mental health challenges, including concepts and interventions relevant to OCD treatment.
