Jaime Fernandez Casares

I am a licensed clinical psychologist based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with over 10 years of experience in private practice. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), with advanced training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for anxiety disorders and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). My primary areas of expertise include OCD, panic disorder, health anxiety, generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety, perfectionism, and procrastination. I have completed specialized training in advanced ERP and continuously update my clinical skills through supervision and evidence-based continuing education. My clinical approach is structured, collaborative, and strongly grounded in scientific research, with a particular interest in inhibitory learning models of exposure and contemporary CBT frameworks. In addition to individual therapy, I co-lead an international peer-support community focused on anxiety and OCD, where I facilitate free psychoeducational group meetings via Zoom.
