I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist (RCI registered) with specialised experience in working with individuals struggling with Obsessive–Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and related anxiety conditions. I understand OCD not simply as intrusive thoughts or repetitive behaviours, but as a cycle driven by fear, uncertainty and the need for control, often misunderstood even by those experiencing it. My therapeutic work with OCD is grounded in evidence-based approaches such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), tailored carefully to each individual’s symptom profile, values and pace. I work with a wide range of OCD presentations, including contamination fears, checking, intrusive thoughts, moral and religious obsessions, relationship OCD and mental compulsions. Therapy focuses on helping clients reduce avoidance and compulsions, build tolerance for uncertainty and reclaim areas of life that OCD has gradually restricted. I place strong emphasis on collaboration, psychoeducation, and compassion throughout the therapeutic process. Sessions are structured yet supportive, ensuring that clients feel informed, respected and emotionally safe while doing challenging work. Therapy is offered via secure chat and video, with the aim of creating lasting change rather than short-term symptom suppression.
