Farhin Mostak

I am a Clinical Psychologist (M.Phil, Clinical Psychology) with focused training and experience in the assessment and psychological management of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). My clinical approach is grounded in evidence-based practice, compassion, and collaborative goal setting, aimed at helping individuals understand and manage OCD symptoms effectively. As part of my two-year M.Phil training, I was posted at AIIMS Raipur, where I gained structured exposure to the assessment, formulation, and intervention of anxiety spectrum disorders, including OCD. A significant part of my academic and clinical focus has been OCD intervention. My M.Phil dissertation involved an intervention study on the efficacy of Mindfulness-Based Exposure and Response Prevention (MB-ERP) among individuals with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. Through this research, I developed a deeper understanding of integrating mindfulness strategies with traditional ERP techniques to enhance emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and treatment engagement in OCD.
