About

Hi there! It's great to meet you for the first time here. As part of the diversity of mental health challenges that I work with, OCD is one condition that I look forward to working with. Walking alongside clients to help them understand and validate the logic underlying the obsessions and compulsions they experience, I guide them towards being having a healthier control and relationship with the discomfort brought on by the obsessions (Exposure and Response Prevention, ERP). I do this through a blend of mindfulness-based as well as cognitive and behavioural approaches. My hope is to help them have control over the life directions they wish to walk towards, alongside or beyond the OCD symptoms. Here's some background information about myself. I have over 16 years of clinical experience as a psychologist across various settings such as special education schools, forensic juvenile system, forensic/judicial system for adults, public hospitals and in mental health settings. I have also worked with a varied population including children and adults with special needs, sexual and violent youth offenders, adult offenders, as well as adults and adolescents with mental health conditions. I am also experienced in conducting psychological assessments. Here's my website address: inpsychejourneys.com.sg. Do drop in! I look forward to see how we can work together.
